Join us in honouring the brave soldiers of the 44th Australian Infantry Battalion who sacrificed so much for our country during World War One. In just two months, our not-for-profit, the 44th Australian Infantry Battalion Memorial, has achieved great success, including partnering with Christchurch Grammar School and the Mayor of Claremont to recreate the original banner and securing its march through the City of Perth on Anzac Day, representing the battalion for the first time in years.

Founded and led by passionate teenagers, we are dedicated to preserving the stories of the 2,101 men who served with the unit, ensuring that the legacy of the 437 men who paid the ultimate sacrifice, is never forgotten. With your support, we can continue our mission to upgrade our interactive website, organise a large remembrance ceremony, produce a documentary, and collaborate with schools to educate students about these forgotten heroes, by having them research those soldiers first hand.

We invite you to donate or volunteer your time to help research the records of these soldiers, ensuring that their memories are never forgotten. With just 1-3 hours of your time, you can adopt a soldier’s legacy, uncover their story, and contribute to our collective remembrance effort. Together, we can ensure that the sacrifices of these brave men are honoured and remembered for generations to come. Join us today in preserving history and honouring our heroes!
